Supporting Skindred : ‘Pump Up The Volume’ European Tour.

Crossfaith have one goal on this tour; to be your new favourite band and you have to hand it to them, they put on quite a show!

The set contained 8 high octane tracks which left Birmingham’s audience wanting more! From the fist pumping intro of ‘System X’ to the crowds roar of excitement when ‘Devil’s Party’ kicked in, Crossfaith are pulling out all the stops to get you moving and the O2 Institute was a hive of energy!

If the hybrid music of hardcore / metal wasn’t enough to keep your adrenaline pumping, all five members of Crossfaith let their own personalities shine on stage. Whether that’s Terufumi Tamano screaming down the mic one minute and then jumping onto his electronic equipment and rocking out the next or bassist Hiroki Ikegawa raising his bottle of Jack Daniel’s to the crowd before showing his bass who is the boss!

Before we know it , we’re already half way through Crossfaith’s explosive set tonight but Kenta has a little surprise in store! Skindred vocalist Benji joins the band onstage to perform ‘Wildfire’. If the entire audience wasn’t buzzing by this point, Benji and Crossfaith crank the energy up to 11 and continue their audio assault hitting everyone absorbing tonight’s set!

Audience participation is a key element to Crossfaith’s set and best displayed during a cover of The Prodigy’s ‘Omen’. Vocalist Kenta Koie demands the entire standing audience to get down as low as possible as the track builds up with the crowd launching into their air as the beat kicks back in and everyone loses their minds!  Tatsuya Amano’s drum kit also remains intact somehow as he beats the living hell out of it with every song in tonight’s set!

Crossfaith really have given their all and it’s soaked up by tonight’s audience in Birmingham. With news coming on 15th November for UK fans, fingers crossed their headline tour for ‘Xeno’ will smash it’s way through the UK in 2016!
