London-based Japanese Space Metal band Esprit D’Air have just announced their reunion today after their split in 2013, revealing a new line-up and three upcoming shows, including the main stage of the UK’s Biggest Japanese Culture Festival, HYPER JAPAN.

The new lineup consists of guitarist Kai (now vocalist), bassist Ellis and drummer Daishi. You can catch the band at the following shows in the UK:

16 July 2016 – HYPER JAPAN Festival, Olympia London
19 July 2016 – Underbelly Hoxton, London
3 September 2016 – De Montfort University, Leicester

Their sound is unique and fresh in its ability to fuse hard-hitting aggression with melodic interludes and blistering guitar solos. Esprit D’Air garnered a cult following with their charismatic performances reminiscent of a young X Japan, and a style that can only be described as: “Shibuya meets Sunset Strip”! They were the first Japanese-language band to appear on the videogame, Rock Band 3 for the Xbox 360.
