Hotei, who has lived in London with his family for five years now, has a special affection for O2 Shepherds Bush Empire and says:

“It’s such a thrill to be able to play at my favourite venue, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, my first show in London in three years! I promise I will play my guitar with a delicate, yet cutting edge and powerful sound, with the on stage chemistry completed by performing with my amazing musicians. We have arranged a fully seated venue this time, so you can enjoy my music in a more relaxed environment. I am looking forward to meeting lots of music lovers!”

HOTEI has built his musical reputation on his chameleon type nature, recording in a broad variety of styles, underpinned by his virtuoso guitar performances and a tendency to write expansive, cinematic songs that evoke a range of emotions.

HOTEI released his 19th studio album, “Paradox” in Japan in 2017, and will release his second international album in 2018. His debut international album, STRANGERS, was released in 2015 to critical acclaim, and contains numerous collaborations, including Iggy Pop and Matt Tuck, from British rock superstars Bullet For My Valentine. The album campaign was supported by live shows in USA and Europe, with HOTEI performing live for the very first time in many places, including Los Angeles, Paris and Amsterdam.
